Building upon the capabilities of previous da Vinci systems like the da Vinci Xi, which STHS Edinburg was the first in South Texas to utilize for minimally invasive surgery, the DV5 is a highly advanced platform designed to enhance minimally invasive surgery. It offers features like force feedback, improved 3D imaging and streamlined workflows that aim to improve surgical outcomes, efficiency and the overall patient and care team experience.
