October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and South Texas Health System® is encouraging everyone to “Think Pink”.
According to the American Cancer Society®, about 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop breast cancer sometime in their life. To help raise awareness in the Rio Grande Valley about this all-too-common disease, South Texas Health System will be hosting a series of events designed to educate the community about early warning signs and the critical importance of early detection, while empowering women to prioritize their mammo health.
We invite you to join South Texas Health System as we kick off Breast Cancer Awareness month! Decorate your vehicle and show your support for the cause. A trophy will be awarded for the best-decorated vehicle in several categories including: First Responders, Community, Staff and Car/Motorcycle Club. We would love your support and see your creativity brought to life!
