The Department of Homeland Security has a vital mission which is to secure the nation from the many threats we face. This requires the hard work of more than 260,000 employees in jobs that range from aviation and border security to emergency response, from cybersecurity analyst to chemical facility inspector. Their duties are wide-ranging, and their goal is clear - keeping America safe. This Virtual Meet & Greet featuring the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) event will consist of a presentation and a “Meet the Buyer” with a Procuring Officer from Department of Homeland Security, representing the Lower Rio Grande Valley Region. Mr. David Torres, DHS Contracting Officer will provide information about procurement opportunities with the Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Torres will also be available to provide small business attendees the required nuts and bolts of doing business with the Department of Homeland Security.
